G’day! I’m James D. Lemke, a passionate 3D Animator currently located in Melbourne, Australia.

My journey as a 3D Animator is just beginning and I am excited to take on fresh, innovative projects and prospects. In early 2024 I graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Design (3D Animation), I have had the pleasure in participating in two internships.

Aside from creating art, my second interest is participating in sports, particularly tennis, football (Aussie Rules) and basketball. I find value in participating in both individual and team sports, as you are exposed to many different situations where you develop teamwork, problem-solving and self-determination skills.

Everyday life is what inspires my creativity. Being able to slow down and take in the world around you - through the people you surround yourself with, or life events - is what inspires each creation.

Over the next year, my focus is to build my demo reel and secure a graduate role in the Animation Industry. Currently, I’m studying at Animation Mentor learning from some of the best animators in the industry from studios like Pixar, Disney and Dreamworks to name a few.
